This week was a whirlwind, with most of my time spent commuting between the office and hotel. Still, it was lovely to catch up with old colleagues and friends, and to be back around the office buildings in Canary Wharf. The area has grown and changed for the better since I last worked here—already three years ago! Hard to believe that what is now Europe’s biggest financial center was, just a few decades ago, nothing but abandoned docks. Funny, too, how the high-rises that once felt so imposing now seem almost modest compared to my new normal in New York.

Now the weekend is here, and I’m looking forward to wandering along old paths even more…
