Thankful

Today is Thanksgiving—a day that’s all about gathering with family and friends, sharing a meal, and reflecting on what we’re thankful for. Traditionally, the holiday centered around giving thanks for the harvest, but over time, it’s grown to celebrate gratitude in many forms.

The classic Thanksgiving table is often filled with turkey, mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, and an impressive lineup of pies. I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of those dishes, but I do love the idea behind the day—spending time with loved ones, slowing down, and appreciating what we have. As Marcus Tullius Cicero once said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” And I think that’s a thought worth holding onto.
