Just off the High Line in Chelsea, at 18th Street and 10th Avenue, you’ll come across a thought-provoking art piece by Glenn Ligon titled Untitled (America/Me). It’s the kind of work that invites interpretation.

Ligon’s piece cleverly critiques the “me first” mentality that seems to dominate modern life, particularly in America. It reflects on how much we, as individuals and as a society, have become increasingly self-centered.

What are your thoughts on this?
