Last night, after a delicious sushi meal, the mild temperatures were perfect for a leisurely after dinner stroll through the neighbourhood. Coming across Washington Square Park was a nice coincidence and the buzz lured us in to explore.

Well-known for its arch, honoring George Washington, and its fountain, for me the excitement of the park shows in the diversity of people with their variety of activities, from playing chess to singing, selling artsy stuff and just generally having a good time.
