En route to the union square farmers market I stumbled upon an instance of the Japan food festival. Apparently the world’s largest one that happens over 30 times a year! I learned that it’s quite common that food festivals here have many dates and change their location throughout the city.

So I had an onigri and these fluffy pancakes and enjoyed the unexpected turn of events 🇯🇵
